Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?

No. Every tool — compression, resizing, cropping, watermarking, redaction, GIF export, and the passport/visa fitter — runs locally in your browser or on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Which file formats are supported?

You can bring in JPEG, PNG, WebP, and (where your browser supports decoding it) HEIC or AVIF. You can export to JPEG, PNG, or WebP, and AVIF where your browser supports encoding it — the format list in the app only offers what your browser can actually produce.

Why did my passport photo fail a check?

The passport tool only checks aspect ratio, print resolution, file format, and file size automatically — it does not check head position, background color, lighting, or expression, since that needs face-detection features this build doesn't include yet. A "pass" on every automated check is not a guarantee a country will accept the photo; always compare against that country's current official guidance.

Can I use this without an internet connection?

Yes — once the page or app has loaded once, the Compress & Resize and Passport & Visa tools keep working offline, since all processing is local.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Email us at the address above with a description of what happened, your browser or device, and a sample photo if it's relevant and you're comfortable sharing it (remember: anything you attach to an email does leave your device, unlike using the tool itself).

How do I delete my account or data?

There's no account to delete — Reduce Picture Size doesn't require sign-up, and we don't store your photos or personal data on any server.
